Pull on the KEEN Women?s Whisper Sandal before you take on the white caps at the Royal Gouge. Keen gave this sandal a heel strap and quickdraw elastic cord to ensure you don?t lose your sandals when you step into rushing water. The polyester webbing with antimicrobial treatment prevents your feet from smelling like a river bed when you?re back at camp, and KEEN?s patented toe protection prevents underwater debris from slowing you down. The EVA footbed keeps your dogs comfortable for the long haul, and the grippy rubber sole helps you stay upright on slippery surfaces.

Customer Reviews
Great light weight shoe !![]()
I purchased these shoes after looking at dozens! Most were heavy and oddly shaped and very clunky. This shoe is light weight and actually fits nicely to the foot….perhaps a wider foot would find it uncomfortable but I am a medium width and it was a good fit. I did go a size smaller for the best sizing. I used the shoe the first time for trekking in the Galapagos islands. The terrain there is rocky, landings were often wet, we were always getting on and off the zodiak and lava was a major was ever present on our walks. The shoes were comfortable, they provided excellent support and they dried quickly. These things were very important to me since I had sprained my ankle just before arriving on the islands. For the 12 days that I wore these shoes, my ankle never bothered me.
Cushy, comfy, light![]()
I bought these in bright blue at the beginning of summer to replace flip-flops that were hurting my feet. When I tried these sandals on in the store, the thin skin on my feet was blistered and sore from high heels. I felt an immediate ahhhhh. No rubbing of existing blisters, no hard points to create more – just a cushy, airy comfort. I’ve worn them almost every day since, with shorts, swimsuits, swim dress cover-ups, capris, and jeans. I’ve hiked miles at a time in these shoes, logging several hundred miles, and they’re in great shape. They are cool on my feet and make me feel light on my toes.
Hiking Sandals![]()
I borrowed a pair of Keen sandals for a canyoneering trip to Zion. I was able to maneuver in and out of water all day long with one pair of shoes. I purchased my own Keens after I learned how versatile they were. I selected the Whisper because the toe is mainly focused on the Index toe and allows more air into the sandal. The Keen sandals are the only shoes I need for outdoor recreation for hiking, camping and wading in water. I would say the Whisper style is true to size.
