Cute shoe!
I just ordered these and they are so cute! One word of advise though… if you own Dr. Scholl’s sandals, the size might not be the same. I ordered by the size of another sandal that I own by the same company but these are tighter around the toe area. Haven’t decided whether to wing it with the 8.5 or order the 9… Overall adorable shoe though!

Simply MUST HAVE!!!
If you’re like me you may have been wearing heels like forever! Getting older and gaining weight is not so comfortable for one’s feet. Dr. Scholls for Her High Heel Insoles are, in a word, fabulous! Whether wearing them in sandals or closed high heels, they render every stiletto comfortable. They are definitely a ‘FEET MUST HAVE’ item. Luckily Amazon sells these delightful foot aids in a three pack at a phenomenal price point. Do your feet a favour: No matter your weight or age, if you are wearing heels 3 inches and beyond, buy this product! By the way, they work magnificently in heels 2 inches!

I’m a person who doesn’t wear heels often, but when I do, the ball of my foot really suffers, and I don’t understand how others wear heels. I can’t believe people wear them in pain all day. I’ve tried a lot of different insoles for high heels, and these are the best. I noticed an immediate relief. I highly recommend these, and make sure you buy several pair.

First of all, the other two reviewers are right. These are really good to have, a must-have!

i wear heels a lot, and it usually isn’t a problem for me, but even so, these are simply a must-have. Even if you’re like me and you don’t have a problem wearing most heels, these just make things more comfy, sometimes MUCH more comfy!

The thing is, the higher the heels, the more of your body’s weight is being supported by the ball of your foot. These gel inserts really cushion the ball of your foot against the sole of your shoes.

As we all know, some high heels have little, if any, padding on the sole at all, which i’ve always wondered about. Well, these make a very noticeable difference. i personally love wearing four and even five inch heels, i think they’re very sexi and fabulous, and using these gel inserts always makes a big difference.

Best shoes ever!!!
I’m ready to throw away all my other shoes! I’ve bought these in every color and no matter where I go, someone will stop me and ask me where I got them. Not only are they cute as can be, they are the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever worn. AND they’re really fun to wear with funky colored socks that peak out between the separations.
I’ve walked hours in them and never had a problem. BUY THESE SHOES!!!

One Great Shoe
I ordered these shoes thinking that they would be good for work, sometimes running around a hospital can put a lot of stress on both your feet and ankles. The first night that I got them I threw them on, which also happened to be one of the craziest nights in a little while. Half way through the night I looked down at my feet and was so happy that I had them on, that I sat down and ordered another pair!!!!!

great Shoe!
Dr. Scholl’s has created a classy, fun and light shoe in their dance clog. It’s so light and comfortable that you probably could dance in it, but wearing it all day seems not to be much of a problem. Don’t get it wet though, the insole will squeak, but works its way out while it dries and you can walk it off. I have the gray pair and have received many compliments since the color doesn’t make it look like a cheap or childish shoe.

Work great – when inserted correctly
I think the reason so many people have problems with the different gel inserts is because they don’t insert them into the shoes correctly. The colored gel part goes down. I agree this doesn’t make logical sense – since you would think the soft colored gel part would go up. But if you look at the directions it says that part should go down. And that makes sense when you read people’s reviews and the problems they have – they have installed them the wrong way! I have these in the shoe’s I am wearing right now and really like them. The insoles in my dress shoes have worn down and there are holes through them in two locations where there is the most rubbing. The outsides of the shoes look great. These extend the life of my shoes and take away the pain form the holes in the current insoles. The only thing I don’t like about them is they create a squeek for a while until they get worn in – between the dress socks and the insoles – but it does go way after they wear in a little.

Some help
The insoles provided some help, but I couldn’t really recommend them. Probably the wise solution is to just buy better shoes.

These are so amazingly comfortable!! Affordable, too. I purchased these elsewhere, and came on Amazon to find more colors in my size. I can’t say enough about them!!!

These sandals are incredibly comfortable. The footbeds are like walking on bubblewrap that doesn’t pop, very massaging and nice. I love them! My only complaint is that I thought they were all black, and they are actually a black and silver croc-like pattern.

I love these shoes. They have padding inside which makes them really
comfy. The part between my toes doesn’t seem to rub either.

Love this shoe!
I have this shoe in several colors (black&white zebra, gold zebra, red, and sunflower) – love them all. They are extremely comfortable, and so very cute. I love wearing them with a summer sundress or skirt. The little bit of a heel makes them dressy enough to wear just about anywhere, but still very easy to walk in and quite comfy. They are sassy and fun to wear – I highly recommend this shoe!

How to Adjust the Strap on your Dr Scholls…
For all of you ladies wanting to adjust the straps on your beautiful Dr Scholls to make them fit tighter… First take the left shoe and face it forward. Bend the wide leather BENEATH the buckle (i.e. pinching the top and bottom part tightly together). Now pull/slide the buckle to the left. & VOILA! Pretty smooth right?! There is no need to bend or break the buckle! Do the same with the right shoe except this time you must slide the buckle out to the right… That’s it! Enjoy your shoes ladies! I sure do! Love’em! Love’em! Love’em!

Great sandals helped my backache (REVISED)

If your back hurts while standing, you may want to try these sandals.

As a young mother of three, I found that WHENEVER I wore these sandals my chronic backache improved greatly, but they disappeared off the shelves and I was unable to buy them for decades. Now, as a GRANDmother of three, my back has been causing more pain than ever. I was so happy to find the sandals right here at good old Amazon! I’ve been standing for hours, and my back hurts much less now. They’re wonderful. (I gave them only 4 stars because of the rough leather used in the lining of the strap. See below.)

NOTE: They do require a break-in period, so be prepared to wear them for short periods at first.

FOR THOSE WHO FIND THE SANDALS RUB: First of all, if they hurt, TAKE THEM OFF. Don’t wait till you get blisters. For some reason, the inner lining of the straps is made of sueded leather–not too soft. (They were always made this way; I used to sandpaper them.) This doesn’t bother everyone, but if it’s bothering you, try lining them with DURAPORE SURGICAL TAPE (in the 2-inch size; available through your pharmacist). Just stick it on and cut the tape around the strap to fit. As you cut, you may see a little edge of tape sticking out from the strap; just press it up against the edge of the leather; the tape will stay on better. You can also try MOLESKIN (in the foot-care aisle of your supermarket), it really makes them feel great, but doesn’t stick as well as the tape.

IF YOU FIND YOURSELF BETWEEN SIZES (one hole is too tight, the next too loose): Try using the smaller hole, but wear them with socks until the leather stretches. Start with one sock and if they’re still too small, you can wear more than one sock.

IF YOU’RE HAVING TROUBLE WITH THE BUCKLE, YOU’RE DOING IT WRONG! Just pinch the wider part, under the buckle–don’t be afraid to hurt it. You are making a fold in the leather. Once you get it right, the buckle just slips right off the pin. Same thing to get the buckle back on.

Are the sandals worth all this trouble? Even if you don’t get backaches, YES. (My daughter found them so comfortable, I had to get her a pair.)

Here’s how you loosen the buckle…
Love, love LOVE these shoes. They have been a staple in my summer shoe wardrobe for 30 years! When I was a teen I could only get them in the drug stores. When I saw them for $3.00/pair one summer in the late 70s, I anticipated they were going out of style, so I bought 10 pair and gingerly wore them (and wore them out) for the next 20 years! Luckily they are back, but still hard to find to purchase.

For the ladies who are having difficulty loosening the buckle, here’s how I do it: Sitting, place the left shoe face up in between your knees. Grasp the rounded end of the leather with your right thumb/forefinger and hold tight. With your left hand, SLIDE the buckle to your left, enough to clear the post sticking through the grommet. If it’s a little stiff, put a drop of household oil in between the buckle and grommet. This should be enough to lift the leather over the post and adjust your shoe. Repeat the procedure for the right shoe. Don’t give up…they’re too nice of a shoe not to wear.

Dr. Scholl’s Dance Clogs
I bought these because they aren’t leather, not because I was crazy about their appearance. I now have them in brown, black, pewter, and blue because they are lightweight and comfortable. They do run a bit small as others have mentioned. I’d recommend getting one size larger than your normal shoe size (this also helps to prevent the squeaking). The heel is narrow and because of their height it took me a little while to navigate in them with speed. They’re sturdy, let your feet breathe, and are easy to clean. A nice alternative to the ubiquitous “Crocs.”

these shoes just arrived and are really cute. I got the grey, they are exactly as pictured and fit to size. They bounce! …are really stylish and I can’t wait to wear them around the city. Really comfortable. Make no mistake, they are definitely plastic. They are like crocs on crack.

LOVE MY DANCE SHOES
I live Orlando, Fl. I have been doing hair for 26yrs. and never have I had such comfort out of a shoe as the comfort these shoes give me. I have bought nurse shoes, tennis shoes and even shoes made of rubber soles I even bought some insert for these other shoes and still nothing compares to what I get out of these dance shoes and I had surgery on my left foot and these don’t even hurt my foot they are great thank you so much I want them in black too but I’m waiting for the price to come down a little.Original Dr. Scholl’s Women’s Dance Mule
