I purchased these shoes a half size larger than I normally wear and found them still very tight. Toe area is quite narrow. Otherwise, well made and good height for dancing.

This product is exactly as described — I’m glad I listened to other reviewers and ordered a 1/2 size larger than I normally wear. Since the uppers are man-made material, they don’t “give” as leather would. Capezio is a reliable manufacturer and I’d definitely order again from this vendor.

After I got the right size these where the most comfortable dress shoes. I don’t dance I just wanted a pair of dress shoe that I could actually walk in. I had to get a whole size larger then my normal tennis shoes. I normally where a 9 But I had to get a 10. I first got a 9.5 but they were just a bit to small. Unfortunately the company has a restocking fee which make sending them back cost almost as much as the shoes. So do yourself a favor and get a whole size larger.

I’ve been in theatre most of my life and love how comfortable character shoes can be once they are broken in. When it came to trying to find a shoe that I can dance in on my wedding day, I thought that this would be perfect. While it fits perfectly in length, it’s still not wide enough, but I know that will change once broken in. All in all they are exactly what I wanted.

I bought these as a first pair of dance shoes, and love them, but I had to return the first pair because, even ordering a size up, they were way too small for me to dance in. 1.5 sizes up is snug but not unbearable. I’ll have to wait and see how they break in to know for sure, but the style is attractive and I would for sure recommend them.
