Very cute on the right foot
I just received these in the mail the other day. When I got them, I examined them and discovered scuffed suede. Some of the grey had worn off before ever leaving the box. I’m not sure if this is because someone else had returned them and taken care of them poorly, or if they just got damaged during packing and shipping. But to my standards, if I buy something new, I don’t want scuff marks all over it.
I tried it on out of curiosity and it is a beautiful shoe. The heel is high and comfortable because of the platform. I have a wide foot but it is not difficult to stretch the suede to fit. The only problem is that I have ankles that are apparently narrow. I am a size 8.5 with a 9 in circumference ankle, and the ankle straps were too wide. I tried to decide if I wanted to keep the scuffed up pair because they were the last ones left and I decided against it because of the ankle straps. They are for decoration only, they do not unbuckle and you cannot adjust them. They do not fit my ankles and it looks slightly awkward. I decided since they were damaged anyway I would just send them back.
The gray, however, is a beautiful color with contrasting leather and suede texture. This is worth it if your ankles are not narrow because they are very comfortable.
