Great boots!
I am so so happy I bought these boots. They are comfortable, actually waterproof, and are flat boots that actually look cool (which is very hard to find, at least in my experience). I’ve worn them every day since I got them, about 2 weeks ago, including in a few rain storms. They clean up quickly and easily when they get muddy, too. Plus, they look good with skirts. Love ‘em!
Nearly perfect
I needed a waterproof boot for walking, with a low heel and good traction. After trying several brands and styles in the store, I ordered these online. They are nearly perfect. The one and only drawback is I wish they were not so wide across the ball of the foot, since my feet are fairly narrow. Worn with a hiking weight sock, they are very comfortable, but feel sloppy with a regular weight sock. The instep, ankle and heel fit are great and they don’t slip. Love the looks with pants or skirts. They’re also light, warm, and have good arch support.
Good fashionable winter boots
I have the black version of these. Because of the treatment they’ve done to the leather, it looks a little dull/matte, but if you use one of those black shoe polish paint things, they look a little shinier. They really are waterproof though not as warm as I would like (even with Thinsulate lining). Even so, they’re the warmest “fashion” boots I’ve ever owned. I have worn them in snow storms, and you can’t stand around, but if you keep moving they’re comfortable.
I would have preferred them to be a bit taller (they’re about 3″ shy of being below-the knee) and a bit more flexible, but I can actually stuff my boot-cut jeans in them with only a bit of effort, which makes them even more versatile.
If you’re looking for waterproof, warm boots that look nice, in particular if you live in the Northeast, I think these are great sensible boots.
